In February, my mom came out to visit me for three weeks. After I finished the Milford Track, we met in Queenstown. From there we traveled up through New Zealand, stopping in Hokitika, Christchurch, Kaikoura, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Cambridge and finally Auckland.
I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures, but here are some of the decent ones. It was good to see someone from home. We enjoyed many restaurants, parks, flat whites and ice creams.

Whew, breathtaking photos.
Take this from someone who knows. . .if you ever get a garden of your own, if you ever get seriously into gardening or landscaping. . .horse manure is the BEST fertilizer on the planet.
The mandalas are gorgeous~ and poignant, the rata in the gutter. Awesome was that Queenstown shot, from the restaurant~ that bay I would love to canoe.
Nice photos David …well except for the ones with me in them. I especially like the shot of the beach at Hokitika. And I love the way you composed the picture of the morning glories.
I miss falafel kebabs!
